Give to Venice Concert Band Inc | Giving Challenge
The Venice Concert Band will again be participating in The Giving Challenge for 24 hours
from noon on April 9 until noon on April 10.
To donate to our cause just search:
thegivingpartner.org and then search for the Venice Concert Band. Everything you
donate will be matched by The Giving Partner up to $100. So, if you donate $50, we will
receive another $50 from the foundation.
The Venice Concert Band is a 75–80-piece all volunteer community band that is committed
to promoting the enjoyment and appreciation of all types of band music. We present six
community band concerts every winter in the Venice Performing Arts Auditorium, with
usually 1000 people in attendance at each concert. Our mission is to promote the
enjoyment and appreciation of all types of band music and to provide area schools with
grants as well as scholarships to student musicians for summer camps etc. We are also
helping to support two college age students as they pursue a degree in music education.
The Venice Concert Band also provides a venue for community adult musicians to continue
their performance skills.
We hope you will go online during this 24 hour period from noon on April 9
